## About the Role

Must have an 8140 Compliant Certification such as: Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
\- Must have an active Final Secret Security Clearance and must maintain a valid US passport.
\- Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties such as deployments.
\- Experience coding in various programming languages, including Python and Java, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and Powershell.
\- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, API integration (particularly the REST API), and Git version control.
\- Strong ability in scripting and test automation of software tools.
\- Experience with Git-based version control systems (e.g., GitLab)
\- Experience building, maintaining, or supporting CI/CD pipelines utilizing DevOps practices (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)
\- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
\- Experience troubleshooting and resolving moderately complex system or pipeline issues
## Desired Skills
-Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
\- An Active Top Secret Security Clearance is a plus
\- Prior C2BMC experience
\- Developing KPIs and tracking other metrics and creating reports.
\- Front-end design experience, particularly in languages such as JavaScript (ideally the React framework), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
\- Experience in cybersecurity, particularly vulnerability management, monitoring, and remediation.
\- Experience in commercial tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and/or VMware Aria.
\- Experience in basic networking principles and configuration of networking equipment.
-Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and basic orchestration concepts
\- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
-Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
\- Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
\- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
\- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated engineers as well as independently at times on large field projects.

The Work
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines that support efficient software delivery. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance., Design, build, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
\- Develop and maintain complex software applications in languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Powershell.
\- Implement solutions for an enterprise-scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-defined Networking (SDN) solutions to optimize network management.
\- Develop and maintain documentation for all software, including CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling guides.
\- Develop and enhance automation scripts and services using Python or Java to improve DevOps workflows
\- The candidate may be required to support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
