What success looks like: * First 3 months: Ramp up on the products in your assigned area - their architecture, development toolchain, and release process - within Omnissa's broader portfolio of six product families, and begin delivering security reviews and triage. * First 6 months: Independently own routine security work end to end, handle vulnerability triage with sound judgment, and contribute automation or process improvements that help the team. * 12 months: Reliably own a defined area with minimal oversight, take on progressively more complex problems, and be a consistent, trusted contributor to the security program. Leadership and team culture: * Report to the Director of Product Security and take direction from the Manager of Application Security. * Work closely with a committed team of security engineers, product managers, and developers focused on innovation and getting things done. * Build trust among team members and stakeholders, committing to customer success. * Operate in a transparent, communicative environment that emphasizes work-life balance and having fun at work. ## Related Videos - [Green Cloud Computing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/592-green-cloud-computing) - [How to Cause (or Prevent) a Massive Data Breach- Secure Coding and IDOR](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/39-how-to-cause-or-prevent-a-massive-data-breach-secure-coding-and-idor) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) - [Security Pitfalls for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/726-security-pitfalls-for-software-engineers) - [How GitHub secures open source](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1450-how-github-secures-open-source) - [WebAssembly: The Next Frontier of Cloud Computing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/972-webassembly-the-next-frontier-of-cloud-computing) ## Related Articles - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [The 8 Best Code Testing Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/402-the-8-best-code-testing-tools) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline)
