Hands-on experience with Datadog, including APM, Custom Metrics, Dashboards and Distributed Tracing. Experience instrumenting applications for both technical and business metrics. Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Datadog SDK. Experience defining and implementing SLIs, SLOs and operational KPIs. Solid understanding of structured logging and metrics collection. Good knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures. Experience with Python. Familiarity with Java and/or TypeScript is a plus. Strong SQL skills. Experience working with Git and Linux environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to have Experience building ETL pipelines. Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools. Knowledge of traffic management and communication between distributed services. Experience working with CloudWatch and integrating AWS monitoring with Datadog. Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define operational KPIs. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
