## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience working with ESRI products, including ArcGIS.
 * Strong technical and analytical skills in GIS data management.
 * Proficiency in handling shapefiles, map layers, and geospatial datasets.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

 * Associate's degree (minimum) or Bachelor's degree (preferred) in GIS, Geography, or a related field.
 * Experience working with government or large organizational GIS systems.
 * Familiarity with data-sharing practices across agencies.
Additional Requirements:

 * Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
 * Willingness to travel as required.

## Description

We are seeking a skilled GIS Operator with a strong technical background and 3-5 years of hands-on experience using ESRI products, particularly ArcGIS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating GIS data, supporting internal teams, and collaborating with external stakeholders., * Update and maintain RPMS GIS data systems.

 * Manage and edit shapefiles, geodatabases, and data layers within ESRI ArcGIS.
 * Provide GIS support to team members and other departments.
 * Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including federal, state, and local agencies, for GIS data storage and maintenance.
 * Collaborate with ESRI representatives and other GIS system users.
 * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all GIS platforms.
 * Work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
 * Travel on official assignments (approximately 10-15% of the time).
