## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or other related field.

 * 3-5 years of experience preferred.
 * Experience in engineering fields of electric distribution design and Short/Long Range Planning strongly preferred.

## Description

The System Administrator ensures the Cooperative's IT systems are maintained and well-functioning in alignment with current best business practices. Provides support in areas of computer troubleshooting; hardware and software maintenance, and training for the purpose of providing adequate computer services to all employees.
Summary of Duties:

 * Supports the IT functions of the Cooperative, including managing the trouble ticket system.
 * Monitor system health, including server, storage, and network performance to prevent issues.
 * Assists with system updates, backups, installations, and implementations of software and hardware.
 * Performs maintenance, enhancements, and technical support on existing hardware and software systems.
 * Oversee regular data backups and ensure swift recovery in case of system failures.
 * Implement security controls, manage user permissions, and ensure data integrity.
