## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Eight or more years of experience building production data systems.
 * Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern data-engineering patterns.
 * Experience designing data pipelines and services in cloud or distributed environments.
 * Strong software-engineering fundamentals, including testing, source control, CI/CD, and operational monitoring.
 * Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership of complex data capabilities.
 * Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer.
 * Active Secret clearance., * Experience supporting the U.S. Army.
 * Experience with AWS or another large-scale cloud platform.
 * Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, or comparable data platforms.
 * Experience integrating enterprise content repositories and legacy systems.
 * Familiarity with distributed processing, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps.

## Description

* Own the architecture and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data products.
 * Integrate data from distributed repositories, applications, and enterprise systems.
 * Design for data quality, lineage, security, observability, and long-term maintainability.
 * Establish engineering standards for testing, source control, deployment, and operations.
 * Work across platform, security, software, and mission teams to deliver production capability.
 * Review technical designs, mentor engineers, and resolve complex integration challenges.
