Experience with Node.js is a plus. * Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS. * Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Cognito, and related cloud technologies. * Experience building distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven applications. * Experience with containerized applications and orchestration technologies such as ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or similar platforms. * Understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability considerations for backend systems. * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance optimization. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, and modern software development practices. * Understanding of application security principles, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure software development practices. * Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and healthcare data privacy and security controls. * Experience working in regulated environments and supporting software development within structured quality processes. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud services that support healthcare applications operating in regulated environments. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering and cross-functional teams to build backend systems supporting medical device connectivity, data management, remote monitoring, and clinical workflows. This role requires strong experience in backend application development, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and AWS cloud services, along with an understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements for healthcare products.
