This also enables the creation of externalized APIs, allowing advertisers and agencies to view and manage their accounts as we move into a world of agenctic buying. * Account Intelligence: We're building the enrichment layer to identify who our advertisers are, where they spend their advertising budget, how they're structured, and whether our internal data matches reality. * Account Cohort and Verification Automation: Cohort assignment and identity verification are both manual today and both scale linearly with advertiser growth. Handling these problems at scale in an automated manner will be one of the key drivers of our long term success. * Spend Attribution: We are building an automated attribution engine to accurately map programmatic spend from DSPs and map it with the corresponding advertisers, agencies, and ad accounts across supply channels. The work is foundational, which means it's both high leverage and high stakes, as well as a truly zero-to-one space. The architectural decisions we make now will be load-bearing for every team in Netflix Ads for years. If you're drawn to problems where getting the architecture right the first time actually matters, this is the team for you. We are looking for highly motivated engineers working in the advertising space who are excited to join us on this journey. ## Related Videos - [From event streaming to event sourcing 101](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/91-from-event-streaming-to-event-sourcing-101) - [For the REST of us: API First and Conway’s Law](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1932-for-the-rest-of-us-api-first-and-conway-s-law) - [Debugging in the Dark](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1658-debugging-in-the-dark) - [DevOps at Netflix](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/270-devops-at-netflix) - [Introducing JSON Structure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100219-introducing-json-structure) - [ Your Code Is the Sales Team Now](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100327-your-code-is-the-sales-team-now) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [How Much FAANG Companies Actually Pay Software Engineers in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/230-how-much-faang-companies-actually-pay-software-engineers-in-2025) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated)
