How did you handle it? ## Description We are looking for a solid L1/L2 Helpdesk Technician to join our team. This is an in-person role in Huntington Beach with one nice perk: when you are on call for the week, you work from home on Fridays. It is not fully remote, and we are not going to pretend it is. What we are offering instead is a real team, real variety, and a company that is constantly asking "how do we make this better?" - and actually following through. Fair warning: we are project-heavy right now, so the ticket queue is real. We need someone who can jump in, take ownership, and keep clients calm while the rest of us are heads-down on bigger builds. You will be supported, not abandoned. What You Will Be Doing * Handling helpdesk tickets across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and networking - the full range from "my printer hates me" to legitimate security triage. * Working inside HaloPSA for ticketing and documentation - if you have used it before, you are already ahead. If not, it is not hard to learn and miles better than some of the alternatives. * Using N-able RMM to monitor, manage, and support client endpoints. You will get comfortable here fast. * Following SOPs (and flagging when they need updating - we want that feedback). * Documenting your work clearly so the next tech does not have to start from scratch. * Communicating with clients in plain English, with patience and professionalism even when the issue is... user-generated. * Escalating when it makes sense and owning it when you can resolve it yourself. * Supporting a team that is growing fast and needs people who bring their best consistently. ## Related Videos - [Blazor Unleashed: The Future of .NET Web Development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1564-blazor-unleashed-the-future-of-net-web-development) - [Thinking Differently - How to Make Money from Cyber Attacks & Cheats](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/745-thinking-differently-how-to-make-money-from-cyber-attacks-cheats) - [Fake or News: Translating Dog Barks, Notepad Gets an Upgrade and Michelin-Star Robots - Paul Tregoing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1802-fake-or-news-translating-dog-barks-notepad-gets-an-upgrade-and-michelin-star-robots-paul-tregoing) - [The Developer Workstation Blind Spot: Why Your Security Stack Can't See What Matters Most](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100254-the-developer-workstation-blind-spot-why-your-security-stack-can-t-see-what-matters-most) - [What makes Cybersecurity different for critical infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/571-what-makes-cybersecurity-different-for-critical-infrastructure) - [WinForms Meets WPF: The Hybrid Path to Modern Desktop Applications](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2040-winforms-meets-wpf-the-hybrid-path-to-modern-desktop-applications) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Remote Work: Best Practices for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/315-remote-work-best-practices-for-developers) - [9 Ways to Make Money Hacking](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/333-9-ways-to-make-money-hacking) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing)
