## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Eight or more years of professional software-engineering experience.
 * Strong experience with modern front-end development and at least one backend programming language.
 * Experience designing APIs, application services, and data-intensive systems.
 * Strong software-engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, source control, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
 * Demonstrated ownership of a major software capability from architecture through deployment.
 * Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer.
 * Active Secret clearance., * Experience supporting the U.S. Army.
 * Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
 * Familiarity with AWS, Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, or comparable platforms.
 * Experience modernizing or replacing legacy applications.
 * Experience building software in secure or regulated environments.
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted software-development tools.

## Description

* Own the architecture and delivery of user-facing mission applications.
 * Build responsive interfaces, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
 * Work directly with users and product stakeholders to understand workflows and refine capabilities.
 * Transition required functionality from legacy applications without disrupting operational use.
 * Establish strong practices for testing, code review, security, CI/CD, and production operations.
 * Diagnose complex application and integration issues across the stack.
 * Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decisions across the broader platform.
