## About the Role

* 12+ years of relevant technical experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
 * Experience building and delivering enterprise software solutions
 * Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into production workflows
 * Experience designing, developing, and maintaining engineering harnesses (e.g., test automation frameworks, CI/CD infrastructure)
 * Experience optimizing performance and cost-efficiency in AI/LLM-enabled software systems

Preferred Qualifications

 * Demonstrated leadership on AI-Native engineering teams building or replacing enterprise-scale platforms
 * Track record mentoring engineers and leading multi-functional, matrixed technical teams
 * Experience collaborating with partners from operations, strategy, and product to deliver impactful business solutions
 * Ability to learn, evaluate, and scale emerging AI engineering tools and practices
 * Strong communication, influence, and partner management skills in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

## Description

As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will drive the architecture and delivery of AI-powered solutions that modernize internal platforms and deliver measurable business impact. You will lead the adoption of AI-native best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with partners to ensure solutions align with Cisco's strategic objectives.

 * Architect, develop, and scale AI-enabled platforms that replace legacy enterprise tools and drive operational efficiencies
 * Lead and mentor engineers, embedding AI-assisted development practices to elevate code quality and delivery velocity
 * Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and operational goals
 * Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices into the engineering workflow
 * Ensure the team's outputs achieve tangible business outcomes, including cost savings and improved productivity
