 * Be a consistent team player, * At least 2 years of experience in one or more of these fields: Law enforcement, Military, Corporate Security, Business Continuity, Risk, Emergency Management, or Customer Service
 * At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, * Associate's degree or higher
 * 3+ years of experience in the security field
 * 3+ years of Security Operations Center or emergency communications experience

## Description

As a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist, you'll carry out day-to-day activities in the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC). The GSOC is our 24/7 security and intelligence function that evaluates and reports on hazards and threats to the company including but not limited to natural disasters, terror attacks, civil unrest, workplace violence, facility intrusion and others.

This position works rotating shifts that may include weekends, holidays, evenings and overnight shifts. This role's hours are expected to be 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Central, including weekends, and is subject to change with the needs of the business., * Intake of critical response communications

 * Responding to calls for equipment service and information about security-related technology systems, which includes, but is not limited to, phone, email, and emergency mass notification tools
 * Monitor and respond to security alarms utilizing the alarm monitoring tools themselves, or cameras and various intelligence resources in order to identify and resolve physical security threats
 * Synthesize large amounts of information quickly
 * Create a comprehensive documented record of security-related incidents
 * Coordinate routine and critical incident communications
 * Understand the proper use of security-related tools and procedures
 * Implement access control procedures
 * Assist with physical security validations for our partners and vendors
 * Support general security, first responder, and law enforcement engagement and response to incidents
 * Escalate to supervisors when appropriate
