This is a high-ownership, end-to-end role spanning the experience layer (React, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL), API and orchestration (Apigee, Auth0, Redis, Kafka), the AI-powered Leadership Intelligence layer (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Neo4j, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow), systems of record (Salesforce, PostgreSQL), and DevOps/hosting (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog): taking features from concept through production release, instrumenting them, and iterating on data. What You'll Do * Own the full feature lifecycle architecture, implementation, code review, QA, deployment, and post-launch monitoring. * Build responsive React/TypeScript frontends integrated with Optimizely; design Apollo GraphQL schemas and resolvers served through Apigee; build modular Node.js/NestJS backend services using Redis for caching and Kafka for event-driven workflows. * Design and query PostgreSQL schemas (TypeORM/Prisma); collaborate on Snowflake pipelines and dbt models feeding the Leadership Intelligence layer. * Integrate OpenAI and Google Gemini APIs for AI-powered discovery, recommendations, and matching; work with Neo4j graph data for relationship-driven insights. * Use AI-assisted development workflows (pair programming, code generation, test scaffolding) to increase velocity without compromising quality; handle AI feature failures, timeouts, and token costs with a production mindset. * Partner with product, design, the Lead Security Engineer, and DevOps to ensure features are secure, well-architected, and operationally sound from the start. ## Related Videos - [Reducing LLM Calls with Vector Search Patterns - Raphael De Lio (Redis)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1714-reducing-llm-calls-with-vector-search-patterns-raphael-de-lio-redis) - [Putting the Graph In GraphQL With The Neo4j GraphQL Library](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/257-putting-the-graph-in-graphql-with-the-neo4j-graphql-library) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) - [Accelerating Authentication Architecture: Taking Passwordless to the Next Level](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/733-accelerating-authentication-architecture-taking-passwordless-to-the-next-level) - [The Data Phoenix: The future of the Internet and the Open Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1116-the-data-phoenix-the-future-of-the-internet-and-the-open-web) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix)
