 * Experience with PowerShell scripting.
 * Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes for security-controlled systems.
 * Demonstrated experience with Linux systems engineering and administration.

## Description

VTG is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support Windows and Linux enterprise environments and security-controlled systems. The position requires hands-on systems engineering and administration experience across Windows infrastructure, databases, Active Directory services, virtualization, and Linux environments.
What will you do?

 * Engineer, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems.
 * Support Windows Server and desktop operating systems across enterprise environments.
 * Administer MSSQL databases and related infrastructure.
 * Support Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) and certificate management for users, servers, and service accounts.
 * Manage virtualized environments, including VM clusters and Hyper-V.
 * Support Data Protection Manager and enterprise data protection activities.
 * Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to support system administration and automation.
 * Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes to accredit security-controlled systems.
 * Administer Microsoft Group Policy across multiple systems.
 * Manage Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for system updates and patching.
 * Support virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
 * Support security-controlled systems, software, hardware, and data architecture.
 * Perform data transfer activities within security-controlled environments.
 * Support network and storage infrastructure, including Cisco technologies and NetApp SAN environments.
 * Cross-skill and provide backfill support for other team members.
 * Handle sensitive data while exercising discretion and sound judgment.
 * Provide IT program management and technical support as required
