If you're the type of person that wants to know your work has meaning and impact, you'll like working for our campus., The Information Technology Coordinator leads and coordinates new physical security projects and initiatives on the university's main campus, delivering innovative solutions that support campus safety. Responsibilities * Coordinate physical security installation project requirements in support of both new physical security construction and remodel initiatives across UT Austin owned and operated spaces. Communicate project needs and requirements to support entities on campus to ensure that campus customers receive the highest quality solutions. Support on-going hardware lifecycle projects and preventative maintenance programs. * Provide consulting support and technical design review for new physical security projects on campus and serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating physical security improvements across the UT Austin campus. * Maintain documentation for access control, intrusion and video projects. * Collaborate with campus building managers, facility designers and lab managers on security design and project estimation. * Participate in the On-Call rotation. Driving university owned vehicles to job sites will be required for this position. Maintain acceptable driver rating as established in Policy UTS157. * Perform other related functions as assigned., Monday - Friday, flexible between 7am-6pm; May require occasional overtime nights and/or weekends.
