Professional software engineering experience designing, building, deploying, and operating production-scale systems. Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Experience building cloud-native applications and services on Azure or another public cloud platform. Experience with distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, software design patterns, scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence. Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, telemetry, DevOps practices, incident response, and live-site ownership. Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, large language models, copilots, agent or multi-agent frameworks, intelligent automation, prompt engineering, orchestration patterns, and AI evaluation techniques. Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted software development practices to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and delivery. Experience with enterprise business systems, document-intensive processes, telemetry, analytics, real-time data, or streaming architectures. Understanding of responsible AI, security, privacy, compliance, governance, and high-trust enterprise requirements. Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and measurable outcomes. Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
