As a THAAD Systems Engineer supporting the Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program, you will play a pivotal role in translating mission objectives into clear system design.
In this role, you will:

 * Advise engineering and program leadership on launcher system design and operations
 * Support launch campaigns, readiness reviews, and mission assurance activities
 * Evaluate technical risks, anomalies, and corrective actions
 * Review requirements, interfaces, and integration strategies
 * Provide expertise on launch vehicle performance, trajectory, and mission constraints
 * Support proposal development, customer briefings, and technical strategy
 * Mentor systems engineers and launch operations personnel
 * Coordinate across government, customer, and contractor teams
 * Support the Launchers both fielded and in development.
 * Support the customer with the fielded launchers both domestic and international
 * Support the Launcher production and field return troubleshooting
 * Support the development of new Launcher capabilities
 * Support Fire Control and Weapon Systems updates as needed.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
