## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field with 10+ years of relevant aerospace/defense experience; or Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
 * Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system architecture, interface control, verification & validation, and technical review leadership.
 * Experience leading engineering teams on complex defense or aerospace programs involving custom hardware and/or software systems.
 * Proficiency with Polarion and MBSE tools such as CAPELLA.
 * Experience with EVM, technical risk management, and trade study analysis.

## Description

* Lead multidisciplinary System Architecture activities across Solution, Requirements & Verification, Interface Definition & ConOps functions.
 * Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to SE teams supporting complex aerospace and defense programs.
 * Lead major technical reviews including SRR, SFR, PDR, and CDR, ensuring deliverables meet program and customer requirements.
 * Manage system architecture, interface control, requirements development, verification & validation, and technical trade studies for custom hardware/software systems.
 * Oversee risk and opportunity management, maintaining mitigation plans and status reporting to program leadership.
 * Support proposal development, Basis of Estimate (BOE) activities, cost estimating, and schedule forecasting.
 * Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using CAPELLA or similar tools.
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and lessons learned activities.
