## About the Role

* Strong networking and Internet security background, ideally within a large ISP or telecommunications environment.
 * Deep understanding of BGP, RPKI, DNS/DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation and network hygiene, including BCP38/84.
 * Experience investigating and tracing BGP hijacks, BGP leaks, DDoS attacks, malware and abuse traffic.
 * Strong understanding of network security controls such as CoPP, ACLs and TACACS, alongside security monitoring and incident response.
 * Comfortable working with international operational teams, security functions and external organisations to drive improvements.
 * Knowledge of organisations such as RIPE NCC, RIRs, MANRS, M3AAWG and CableLabs would be highly advantageous.
 * Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings and make recommendations to both technical and operational stakeholders.

This would suit someone who has a genuine passion for Internet security and large-scale ISP networks, and who wants to have a tangible impact on the security and resilience of global Internet infrastructure.
