 * Mandatory professional experience with other backend technologies, such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
 * Strong experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and database optimisation.
 * Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
 * Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar backend technologies.
 * Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
 * Strong testing experience with RSpec, Minitest, or equivalent.
 * Good understanding of Git, software architecture, security, and performance optimisation.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Ruby Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems., You will part of a professional software engineering team helping to build and regularly ship software, some of the projects you may be working on will include;

 * Develop and maintain backend applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
 * Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
 * Work with databases, background jobs, caching, and third-party integrations.
 * Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
 * Troubleshoot performance and production issues.
 * Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
 * Participate in system design and code reviews.
