## Description

* Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop software engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
 * Set clear performance expectations and deliver structured, data-driven performance reviews alongside line managers
 * Work closely with Project Management to align team capability and resource planning with current and future project requirements
 * Provide day-to-day leadership and line management, supporting career development and continuous learning
 * Drive improvements across engineering processes, tools, and development methodologies to increase efficiency and quality
 * Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practice, helping guide technical direction and engineering standards, We are hiring a Software Operations Manager for our East Midlands team on a hybrid basis, with one day per week in the office. This is an opportunity to influence both the people and technical direction of a growing engineering function. We offer the chance to shape how software is delivered, support the development of talented engineers, and help create an environment where our team can do their best work.
