## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Seven or more years of experience in product design, user-experience design, or human-centered design.
 * Demonstrated ownership of complex digital products from discovery through production delivery.
 * Strong experience with user research, workflow design, prototyping, and usability testing.
 * Experience designing data-intensive applications or operational workflows.
 * Experience working closely with software-development teams.
 * Portfolio demonstrating relevant product-design work.
 * Experience supporting a Department of Defense customer.
 * Active Secret clearance., * Experience supporting the U.S. Army.
 * Experience designing applications within Palantir Foundry, Army Vantage, or a comparable enterprise platform.
 * Familiarity with Army acquisition or program-management processes.
 * Proficiency with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
 * Experience building or maintaining a design system.
 * Familiarity with accessibility and secure government environments.

## Description

Lead continuous product discovery with Army users and stakeholders.

 * Translate mission workflows into product concepts, user journeys, prototypes, and interface designs.
 * Validate designs through user research, usability testing, and direct feedback.
 * Partner with software engineers and data engineers throughout design and implementation.
 * Shape product priorities by connecting user needs, technical constraints, and mission outcomes.
 * Establish reusable design patterns and maintain consistency across applications.
 * Represent the user experience in product and technical decisions.
