## About the Role

We are looking for someone who is excited by new technology and making life easier for users, and has a passion for creating engaging user experiences that users love across full-stack applications., * Essential: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience

 * Proficiency and experience in applications development using development languages such as html, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
 * Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
 * Experience of using version control systems such as GitHub, and of DevOps methodology.
 * Experience with agile development methodologies and project management practices is a plus.

It is also desirable that you have:

 * Training or accreditation in development languages e.g. html, JavaScript, Node, React, Vue, .NET, AWS, Azure, Java
 * Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, and API consumption
 * Knowledge of Azure services and cloud computing

## Description

As a full-stack Lead Applications Developer, you will be responsible for using RNLI designs and following brand guidelines to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web and mobile applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will be leading a small centre of excellence in full stack application development, including front-end technologies and user interface development, designing mock-ups and wireframes and translating them into fully functional digital applications, providing technical leadership and guidance to other developers within the team . You will take a lead role in shaping technical approaches, supporting delivery across the team, and ensuring high-quality, secure and maintainable applications, that will enhance engagement and satisfaction and ultimately, support those who are part of our mission to save lives.
