## About the Role

* Active SC Security Clearance
 * Strong hands-on experience with F5, Zscaler, and Palo Alto technologies
 * Experience with Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, and Cisco network solutions
 * Telecoms industry sector experience preferred
 * Advantageous experience with Cisco IPT, QoS, 802.1x, Infoblox DNS, switches, wireless, VPN (IPsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN), and WAN routing protocols

## Description

* Provide technical ownership of the customer security infrastructure estate, including processes, procedures, documentation, and lifecycle management
 * Act as the technical point of reference and escalation for security-related changes, modifications, and firewall rule base projects
 * Serve as the technical point of contact for vendor support on security infrastructure incidents
 * Design customer networks and support high-level and low-level design documentation
 * Provide technical support, change management, and management of hard physical changes and soft remote changes
 * Manage customer inventory, hardware and software updates, and end-of-life activities

This is a 6-month contract for a Network Security Engineer with active SC clearance, offering £380 per day outside IR35.
