## About the Role

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or equivalent required

 * Bachelor's degree (Geography, GIS, or similar field), GIS Certificate, or at least 2 years of full time GIS work experience is required
 * Power Distribution knowledge is a plus
 * Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software required
 * Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software is a plus
 * Competency with standard computer software, to include Microsoft Office suite is required
 * Capable of working in a team environment is required
 * Experience with CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) is a plus
 * Flexible to work 40 hours per week, M-F, in an office environment in Birmingham, Alabama.
 * Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours per day, starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 5pm.
 * Flexible to work remotely (from home) as well.
 * Remote work requires stable broadband Internet connection of 20mb/s or capable of supporting remote desktop connections over VPN and is responsibility of worker.
 * Note: Following an estimated training period of ~3 months in Birmingham, AL (duration may vary by individual), the role may transition to primarily remote work, with occasional in-office requirements for meetings, training, or other business needs.
 * However, only candidates currently residing locally will be considered.
 * Those willing to relocate will not be eligible.
 * Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Birmingham office, as per diem will not be provided for any on-site requirements.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
