* Strong hands-on Software Engineering background

## Description

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong software engineering background to join a leading technology and consulting environment, working on complex transformation programmes across a variety of sectors.

This is a great opportunity for an architect who enjoys staying close to engineering while taking ownership of solution design, technical direction and senior stakeholder engagement.
The role

 * Creating and assuring key architecture artefacts, including High-Level Designs, Technical Options Papers and key design decisions
 * Working closely with engineering teams, often acting as the lead technical SME
 * Defining technical vision and establishing architectural guardrails
 * Supporting senior stakeholders with cases for change, cost estimation and detailed planning
 * Working across multiple architectural domains, including Business, Data, Application, Technology and Security
 * Working across varied projects, clients and technology stacks
