## About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Network Engineer with experience across enterprise networking, network security and cloud/hybrid infrastructure. Sector experience is not essential as we are looking for the right technical skills and experience., * Enterprise network engineering experience.

 * Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
 * Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with cloud/hybrid-cloud networking.
 * Strong understanding of network security.
 * Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
 * Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Cisco, Juniper, Azure, AWS, OCI, VMware or relevant networking certifications are advantageous.

## Description

* Design, implement and support complex enterprise network infrastructure.
 * Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing and switching.
 * Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, load balancers and network security solutions.
 * Provide 3rd line / Level 3 support and resolve complex network incidents.
 * Monitor network performance, capacity and availability.
 * Support network security, segmentation and Zero Trust initiatives.
 * Design and support Azure, AWS and/or OCI cloud connectivity.
 * Lead network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure transformation projects.
 * Work with vendors, managed service providers and internal IT teams.
 * Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.
