In this role, you'll combine data analysis with tax expertise to solve complex compliance challenges, working with technology to support Amazon's tax operations at scale., Conduct comprehensive analysis of tax reporting data across multiple jurisdictions, identifying data quality issues and recommending solutions to improve accuracy and reliability - Design and contribute to the implementation of scalable tax technology solutions that enhance our reporting and compliance capabilities - Partner with tax and business teams to understand process challenges, then translate those needs into functional requirements for technical development and system improvements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax specialists, business partners, and engineers to deliver integrated solutions that drive efficiency - Develop and maintain metrics that measure the impact and value of tax data initiatives, providing visibility into process improvements and system performance A day in the life As a Data Analyst focused on State and Local Tax compliance, you'll dive into tax reporting data to uncover insights that drive better decision-making across our organization.
