## About the Role

* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, data science, or a related field.
 * Knowledge or experience with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.
 * Experience with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
 * Knowledge of ETL/ELT development and large-scale data-processing solutions.
 * Experience with relevant Google Cloud services, including:
 + Cloud Storage
 + Dataflow
 + Dataproc
 + Pub/Sub
 + Cloud Composer
 + Data Fusion
 + Looker
 + Vertex AI
 + Cloud Functions
 + Cloud Run
 * Understanding of BigQuery performance optimization, partitioning, clustering, security, governance, and cost management.
 * Experience with Python, Java, Scala, or other relevant programming languages is preferred.
 * Familiarity with cloud migration, data integration, analytics, and business-intelligence solutions.
 * Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients.

Preferred Certifications

Relevant Google Cloud certifications are highly preferred, including:

 * Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
