AIX's work spans three connected areas: Workforce Enablement (driving adoption of modern AI tooling and workflows to improve developer productivity and codebase readiness), Product Features (defining strategy for differentiated GenAI feature development and partnering with product teams to take ideas from prototype to production), and Partnerships (nurturing relationships with AI innovation partners to accelerate impact). AIX also continues to provide flexible engineering capacity, rotating onto other product Squads as an embedded Forward Deployed Engineer when teams need to burst capacity, bring in a specialist, or stand up new AI-powered features. This is a hands-on engineering position that blends ownership of AIX's product, platform, and impact-measurement initiatives with periodic rotations onto other engineering teams. Depending on your assignment, you may design and ship AI-powered features directly into the company's consumer products, build the data pipelines and dashboard tooling that measure AI's impact on productivity, or support enablement and evangelism efforts across the organization. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions, lean on AI-assisted development tools as part of your own workflow, architect reusable solutions that are shared across the company's products, lead others through complex technical tradeoffs, and provide oversight and direction to other SWE team-members. Additional Responsibilities: * Design new AI-powered solutions - whether product-facing features or internal enablement tooling - and drive alignment across engineering and product teams for high-priority company initiatives * Expertly break down work at the epic level, setting project milestones with reasonable deadlines * Prioritize work within a project to deliver on the most necessary or urgent requirements * Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code to implement new business critical features or optimize existing services * Evaluate, integrate, and apply LLM/GenAI models and APIs to build AI-powered features for the company's consumer products or internal engineering tooling * Design and build dashboard and analytics tooling that visualizes AI adoption alongside team and developer performance metrics * Determine the most efficient means to sufficiently test new code: unit tests, integration tests, performance tests, etc. * Perform code reviews for members of the team, bearing a sense of responsibility for approved code * Anticipate and mitigate risk on projects * Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across various platforms * Partner with engineering leadership across the org to evangelize AI tool adoption and translate technical findings into insights that inform strategy and investment decisions * Contribute to shared enablement platforms that help engineering teams across the company discover, adopt, and learn modern AI tooling * Lead technical direction across AIX's product, platform, and impact-measurement work, and represent AIX's tooling and impact findings to senior engineering leadership * Effectively communicate with stakeholders on project progress * Rotate onto other product Squads on demand to provide burst capacity or specialized skillsets when teams need extra support * Actively participate in daily stand-ups and other scrum ceremonies, coach and mentor teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, empathetic manner, help onboard new team members We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
