* 8+ years of professional experience in Database Administration.
 * Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Database administration.
 * Experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL administration.
 * Hands-on experience with HA, replication, failover, and disaster recovery.
 * Proven experience in database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
 * Experience with database migration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
 * Experience supporting production enterprise database environments.
 * Strong understanding of database architecture, storage, memory management, and resource utilization.
 * Strong knowledge of backup and recovery concepts and implementation.
 * Strong understanding of database security, access controls, auditing, and encryption.
 * Strong SQL and scripting skills, and Oracle DBA Certification is preferred.
 * Design, administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise Oracle database environments., Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

## Description

* Provide database administration support for SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL environments.
 * Configure and manage High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), replication, and failover solutions.
 * Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies using appropriate database tools and technologies.
 * Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
 * Analyze SQL queries, execution plans, indexes, memory usage, and database workloads to improve performance.
 * Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, patching, and version upgrades with minimal business disruption.
 * Implement database security controls, including access management, roles, privileges, encryption, auditing, and compliance.
 * Monitor database health, capacity, availability, and resource utilization.
