This position works collaboratively with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent judgment in addressing moderately complex to complex technical challenges, with significant latitude to establish objectives and determine approaches to assignments. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a commitment to data quality, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer responsibilities will be to: * Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models. * Solve moderately complex to highly complex issues requiring deep analytics and evaluation of variable factors. * Develop clear, impactful data visualizations to support strategic direction and communication with senior and executive leadership. * Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across all BI deliverables. * Perform complex data analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives. * Optimize existing BI solutions to improve performance and usability., To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: * At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. * Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. * Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. * Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. * Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
