## About the Role

* 12+ Years of Experience or 10+ years with M.S. (An additional 4 years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree)
 * Hands-on experience developing and modifying software in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
 * Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
 * Ability to provide support and troubleshooting for fielded software systems.
 * Familiarity with Git and Subversion version control systems.
 * Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Desired:

 * Experience reverse engineering Windows or embedded/RTOS platforms.
 * Background developing CNO-specific software for Windows, Linux, or embedded environments.
 * Experience with one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust.
 * Knowledge of vulnerability research and exploit development.
 * Understanding of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and fellow engineers to deliver tactical, real-world impact., * Enhance and expand existing toolsets to meet evolving mission needs.

 * Derive, document, and analyze technical and mission requirements.
 * Build end-to-end software solutions that operate effectively within mission constraints.
 * Participate in peer code reviews to improve quality and reduce defects.
 * Create prototypes to demonstrate understanding and validate mission requirements.
