* 3+ years of software/data engineering experience.
 * Strong SQL and data analytics experience.
 * Strong Python scripting/development experience - critical requirement.
 * Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and data lake technologies.
 * Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, ADLS, Azure DevOps, and related Azure services.
 * Knowledge of Spark, Unix, and SQL.
 * Experience with data platforms such as Teradata, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
 * Understanding of software design principles, big data, and data engineering best practices.

Nice to Have

 * Spark / Databricks
 * Teradata Vantage development/administration
 * Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx
 * Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins
 * Airline industry experience
 * Azure/Spark certifications

## Description

* Design, develop, and support scalable data engineering and analytics solutions.
 * Build batch and streaming data pipelines using Microsoft Azure.
 * Work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Blob Storage, Event Hub, Azure Functions, and Power BI.
 * Perform data ingestion, transformation, modeling, testing, deployment, and production support.
 * Develop CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps, security, privacy, and coding best practices.
 * Collaborate with senior developers, product owners, and source application teams., Looking for a strong Azure Data Engineer with hands-on Python + SQL + Azure data engineering experience. Candidates must demonstrate real-world Python development, not just list Python on their resume.
