## About the Role

+ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline and 14 years of related experience, or a Masters' Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 10 years of related experience.

 + Must be a **U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance** at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years, current and within scope.

 + Must have an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

 + 5 years of systems engineering experience throughout the program lifecycle.

 + 5 years of demonstrated experience in MBSE - both performing and leading teams.

 + 2 years of experience with conflict management and negotiation skills.

 + 5 years of experience managing technical teams and making tough decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

 + Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with proven collaboration and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholder organizations.

 + Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) across all levels of the organization and strong partnership/collaboration skills.

 + Demonstrated experience in program adoption of digital engineering concepts, methods, and processes.

 + Experience with Project Lifecycle Management, manufacturing, sustainment, and sustainment are a plus.

 + Experience with cloud-based environments, high performance computing, and virtualized environments.

## Description

+ Work with other Lead Systems Engineers, the Chief Engineer, and product teams to drive engineering execution, evolve model-based engineering practices, solve complex technical problems, and develop talent.

 + Collaborate with other engineers within and across product teams to drive successful product definition and sell-off.

 + Engage customers and senior leadership to solicit requirements and inform on the technical solution.

 + Act as the delegate to the Digital Engineering SEIT Manager, such as representing the DE SEIT for Digital Engineering Review Board (DERB).
