You will own end-to-end design across Meta's Reality Labs device portfolio, orchestrating cross-functional execution at high craft and speed. You'll partner with the project lead to co-author production strategy, assemble and lead sprint teams, navigate hardware and software constraints and opportunities, and build AI-native workflows that fundamentally change how design production works. This is not program management - it's technical production leadership with creative authority., Design Producer, Human Interface Responsibilities: 1. Own end-to-end production of design and software experiences from concept through ship, managing scope, timelines, resourcing, and quality across the full development lifecycle 2. Co-author production plans with the project lead, shaping scope, staffing, and strategic priorities based on user value and business goals 3. Navigate hardware and software constraints and partner with engineering to make trade-off decisions that maintain a seamless user experience 4. Assemble and lead sprint teams - small, cross-functional groups that form around a design challenge, execute at high craft, and reform 5. Evaluate design quality and represent the design point of view in cross-functional forums, making creative calls based on project priorities and timelines 6. Build and orchestrate AI-native tools and workflows that redesign the creative pipeline at a systems level 7. Translate high-level strategy into executable roadmaps and product briefs that synthesize customer needs for cross-functional teams 8. Gather and provide design and development feedback across internal teams and external partners ## Related Videos - [What AI Can, Can’t, and Shouldn’t do for Games](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/997-what-ai-can-can-t-and-shouldn-t-do-for-games) - [Building a hypercar from scratch](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/607-building-a-hypercar-from-scratch) - [AI Agents & Agentic AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2017-ai-agents-agentic-ai) - [Design Patterns For AI Products in 2026](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100255-design-patterns-for-ai-products-in-2026) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [How to achieve web automation with UiPath](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/310-how-to-achieve-web-automation-with-uipath) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [The future is here: How artificial intelligence is influencing UX design](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/65-the-future-is-here-how-artificial-intelligence-is-influencing-ux-design) - [Transforming Software Development: The Role of AI and Developer Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/527-transforming-software-development-the-role-of-ai-and-developer-tools) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [John Romero - What AI Can, Can’t, and Shouldn’t do for Games](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/478-john-romero-what-ai-can-can-t-and-shouldn-t-do-for-games) - [Vibe coding, creativity, craft and professionalism… are we making ourselves redundant?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/579-vibe-coding-creativity-craft-and-professionalism-are-we-making-ourselves-redundant)
