* 5+ years of backend engineering experience with TypeScript and Node.js
 * Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining APIs at scale in production environments
 * Track record of building and shipping services end to end with full ownership
 * Strong foundation in system design and microservice architecture
 * Startup mentality, comfortable with ownership, ambiguity, and moving fast
 * Clear communicator who can make and defend technical decisions
 * Experience mentoring engineers and raising the bar on a team

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Nest.js experience
 * Background in ecommerce or experience integrating with logistics and shipping APIs
 * Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce
 * Java experience with Quarkus as a bonus
 * Experience with MongoDB or Infrastructure as Code, Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
