## About the Role

Principal Systems Engineer:

 + Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master's degree, 0 years of experience with PhD.

 + Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years

 + Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period as determined by the business needs of the company.

 + 2 years of Systems engineering experience throughout the program lifecycle.

 + 1 year of demonstrated experience in MBSE.

 + 1 year of experience with cloud-based environments, high-performance computing, and virtualized environments.

 + 1 year of experience with software or IT-centric systems.

 + 1 year of experience developing interface definition such as Interface Control Document (ICD)

Sr. Principal Systems Engineer:

 + Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with master's degree, 4 years of experience with PhD.

 + Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years

 + Must have current Special Access Program (SAP) approval at time of hire.

 + 5 years of Systems engineering experience throughout the program lifecycle.

 + 2 years of demonstrated experience in MBSE.

 + 2 years of experience with cloud-based environments, high-performance computing, and virtualized environments.

 + 2 years of experience with software or IT-centric systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

 + Good communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and partnership/collaboration skills.

 + Demonstrated experience in program adoption of digital engineering concepts, methods, and processes.

 + Experience with Project Lifecycle Management, manufacturing, and sustainment are a plus.

## Description

The selected engineer will be responsible for systems engineering technical baseline maturation to drive successful development and sell-off of systems within the Digital Ecosystem segment. This individual will lead a small team or work with a cross-disciplinary team under the guidance of Lead Systems Engineers, other program leadership, and customer representatives to pursue incremental capability insertions across the Digital Ecosystem. The ideal candidate has experience with model-based engineering, exposure to software-centric systems and digital engineering, and experience with complex systems lifecycle management.
