## About the Role

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

 * Appian Senior Developer certification (L3)
 * 10 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Appian development
 * Deep experience designing, configuring, and delivering Appian applications in enterprise environments
 * Ability to translate epics, features, and user stories into scalable workflows, interfaces, process models, and integrations
 * Knowledge of workflow automation, testing support, release coordination, and production sustainment
 * Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing Appian best practices
 * Experience supporting cloud environments, with knowledge of common platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
 * Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications

Desired Qualifications:

 * Experience with Army or DoD enterprise systems, Appian-first design approaches, data architecture, and long-range modernization planning
 * Experience modernizing legacy capabilities in Appian, supporting federal acquisition or contract writing workflows, and using an Appian-first approach across shared IL5/IL6 codebases is highly desired
 * CompTia Sec+ certification
