## About the Role

* 6+ years of experience in software engineering or software development
 * Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for responsive web interfaces, object-oriented principles and design patterns, and Java for backend development, including Spring MVC
 * Experience using Git for version control and with software configuration management tools and processes to ensure code integrity
 * Experience with Microsoft ADO for project management, continuous integration, and deployment strategies
 * Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, T-SQL, or SQL Server and tools such as TOAD for database management
 * Experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall
 * Knowledge of object-oriented principles and design patterns in practical software development
 * Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT
 * DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, or SSCP Certification

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience in Java, including Spring Boot or Hibernate, and .NET, including C#, .NET Core, or ASP.NET MVC
 * Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and service-oriented design
 * Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines
 * Experience with containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes, and orchestration tools
 * Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor
 * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, or KISS, design patterns, and DevOps tools and practices
 * Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration
 * Top Secret clearance
 * DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification such as CISSP, CASP+, or Security X Certification
 * Java or .NET Certifications

This role will support a client's Solutions Business Management (SBM)program. We're lookingfor a dynamicsoftwaredeveloper with Java-rich client and web application development experience and strong core Java knowledge. You will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and modifying enterprise-wide systems and applicationsoftware. This is a client with an important mission in support of the U.S. Navy.
