## About the Role

* Experience leading software engineering teams and managing technical infrastructure projects.

 * Familiarity with Git and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) to manage team workflows and version control.

 * Experience translating and communicating complex AI and infrastructure concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

## Description

This position requires a lead Systems Engineer 3 (SE3) to direct the development of Content Delivery Network (CDN) infrastructure through advanced AI integration. As a technical lead, you will guide an engineering team in utilizing large language models (LLMs) to generate and manage Terraform configurations. A primary focus of this role is understanding AI prompt engineering and identifying the behavioral nuances of various models to ensure highly accurate, production-ready infrastructure code. You will define the strategies for interacting with AI systems, iteratively refining prompts, and establishing rigorous quality control processes for all AI-generated output. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering management and stakeholders to ensure that the AI-driven infrastructure meets enterprise scalability and security standards.

 * Lead the engineering team in leveraging AI tools to design, generate, and deploy CDN infrastructure using Terraform.
 * Formulate and refine complex AI prompts to consistently produce secure and optimized Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
 * Evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and efficiency, adjusting prompting strategies to account for model hallucinations, nuances, and limitations.
 * Establish best practices, standardized workflows, and review processes for the team regarding AI interaction and prompt engineering.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectural requirements and translate them into effective AI directives.
