An additional 5 years of experience in storage operations might be substituted for degree. * 15+ years' experience in storage operations or storage architecture, with a focus on NetApps. * Experience with SAN, NAS, Fiber Channel and iSCSI storage implementations. * Proven proficiency in storage solutions including but not limited to block, nfs, sif, s3, sharefile systems, and nas. * Strong understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls), iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Ethernet. * Experience connecting storage arrays to Hypervisor Technologies (NUTANIX, VMWARE VCF, OpenStack). * IAM II certification (DoD 8140 required upon start of employment. Acceptable certifications includeCCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/SSCP) Preferred Qualifications: * 20 years' experience in overall storage operations or storage architecture. 10 years of experience in the specific storage technology that is in the customer environment.
