## About the Role

Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in critical infrastructure or defense environments
Minimum 3 years of experience in OT within complex hybrid environments (IT / OT / IoT / Cloud / ERP)
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST, etc.)
Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, IEC 62443, or equivalent NIS2-related training
Proven experience in enterprise security architecture across domains (network, application, data, IAM, authentication, PKI, SIEM, monitoring, cloud security, etc.)
Experience in risk assessment, gap analysis, and large-scale security programs
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
Autonomous, rigorous, and capable of managing priorities in complex environments
Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (professional level)
Willingness to work on-site when required

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect with strong expertise in Operational Technology (OT) to support the design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise security architecture across complex hybrid environments.
The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating cyber and information security risks within mission-critical and digitally transformed environments. The Security Architect will play a key role in ensuring that security principles, standards, and controls are embedded across IT and OT architectures, in alignment with enterprise architecture methodologies and regulatory frameworks., Security Architecture Design & Development
Develop and implement security policies, standards, protocols, and procedures
Design secure architectures and network solutions to protect against cyber threats
Ensure security controls are integrated into system and solution designs
Support architects and engineering teams in embedding security best practices
Risk Assessment & Management
Review architecture proposals and assess residual risks
Participate in architecture governance forums and design approval processes
Conduct security risk assessments and oversee penetration testing activities
Define risk mitigation strategies and recommend security controls
Monitor emerging threats and adapt security strategies accordingly
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of vulnerabilities in risk registers
Compliance & Standards
Ensure alignment with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, and relevant regulatory requirements
Contribute to the development and enforcement of security standards across the organization
Support compliance activities and audits in collaboration with stakeholders
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with IT, business, and security teams to integrate security into all projects
Communicate security risks, recommendations, and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences
Provide guidance and awareness on security best practices
Incident Response Support
Support security incident handling and investigation activities
Contribute to post-incident analysis and remediation planning
Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Technology Evaluation
Evaluate and recommend security tools, platforms, and technologies
Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends and innovations
Support deployment and configuration of security solutions
Threat Modeling
Develop and apply threat modeling methodologies
Conduct threat modeling for new and existing systems
Provide security input during solution design phases
Security Governance Support
Contribute to the definition and evolution of security capabilities, services, and processes
Support prioritization of security initiatives and transformation programs
