Strong sense of responsibility, priorities, and problem-solving. Confident in interacting with clients and internal stakeholders. Flexible and adaptable to shifting projects and priorities. Comfortable delivering technical presentations to make complex technologies accessible to customers. Holder of a valid driver's license. Engineering degree and/or CCNA certification. Fluent in Dutch, English, and French. Experience in engineering IP/Security networks, telecommunications, or IT infrastructures is a plus-but not essential if you are motivated to learn. ## Description The IP/Security integration team consists of technical experts responsible for identifying, designing, delivering, integrating, and maintaining Ethernet/IP solutions based on leading-edge products and technologies from partners such as Cisco and Fortinet. Our customers include governmental organizations, utility companies, railways, universities, ports, service providers, and well-known data centers. What You Will Do Imagine being part of a team that enables communication across critical networks: from students accessing the internet at universities to drivers receiving real-time traffic updates in their cars. You will play a key role in creating and maintaining mission-critical networks-far beyond the scope of standard enterprise environments. This is a challenging and varied position within an innovative technical service provider, where you will be part of a cross-functional integration team deploying, operating, and maintaining IP/Security networks for multiple end customers., As a System Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, validating, configuring, and monitoring IP/Security network solutions. Staying up to date with IP standards and obtaining certifications on partner technologies (e.g., Cisco & Fortinet). Using management systems to monitor network operations and respond to alarms or incidents. Participating in a 24/7 monitoring rotation, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions. Guiding field support teams during installation and maintenance activities. Collecting and analyzing performance statistics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Providing technical and architectural support to project teams. Coordinating with customers, colleagues, and vendors to resolve technical issues. Conducting site inspections of completed projects. Planning and tracking preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Updating and maintaining technical documentation. Implementing changes to products and features.
