Essential Requirements

 

Fluent German language skills (written and spoken)

 

Good English language skills (minimum B2 level)

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience

 

Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments

 

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database administration

 

VMware virtualisation expertise

 

Windows Server administration experience

 

Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management experience

 

Strong understanding of infrastructure security, lifecycle management, and, best



## Description

Database & Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of business-critical database and infrastructure systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, you will support and optimise the organisation's IT environment while contributing to key infrastructure and digital transformation projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

 
- Administer, monitor, maintain, and continuously improve database platforms and supporting infrastructure
- Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, and data warehouse environments
- Coordinate reporting solutions, integrations, and system interfaces
- Support administration of the virtualisation environment and core IT infrastructure
- Participate in and lead IT infrastructure and systems projects where required
- Provide support across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line functions
- Implement and integrate new IT solutions
