## About the Role

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline
 * Strong interest in design, manufacturing and product development
 * Knowledge of 3D CAD software gained through university projects or placements
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 * Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
 * Placement or internship experience within an engineering environment would be advantageous but is not essential

## Description

Your New RoleAs a Graduate Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of new and existing products from concept through to manufacture. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will gain exposure to a wide range of engineering activities and play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions., * Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software

 * Assisting with product design, development and continuous improvement projects
 * Supporting prototype development, testing and validation activities
 * Preparing engineering documentation, BOMs and technical specifications
 * Collaborating with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable
 * Supporting design reviews and problem-solving activities
 * Assisting with technical calculations and engineering analysis
 * Ensuring projects are completed to quality, cost and timescale requirements
