## About the Role

* Strong experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments.
 * Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
 * Strong understanding of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience managing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD platforms and deployment automation.
 * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
 * Good understanding of Linux systems administration.
 * Experience troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues.
 * Knowledge of networking principles including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and TLS/SSL.
 * Experience working within DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices., * Experience with Amazon EKS.
 * Exposure to GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
 * Knowledge of security best practices within AWS and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, or other GitOps tooling.
 * Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other database technologies.
 * Experience supporting SaaS platforms.
 * AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS SysOps Administrator.
 * Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or similar).

## Description

As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes infrastructure. You'll play a key role in operating and enhancing our Kubernetes environments, containerised workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving platform resilience, and enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.
