## About the Role

* Strong experience delivering highly technical security testing independently and as part of a team.
 * 4+ years' experience working commercially in Cyber Security
 * A questioning mindset and the confidence to challenge assumptions and explore new approaches.
 * A creative, tenacious approach to solving complex technical problems.
 * Strong technical knowledge across areas such as operating systems, networks, cloud and web applications.
 * Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
 * Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills.
 * Experience working with commercial teams to understand and scope client requirements.
 * Experience managing and resolving issues with senior client stakeholders.
 * An understanding of relevant cyber security compliance and regulatory requirements.
 * The ability to work autonomously, manage your workload effectively and remain productive between assignments.

 * A degree in a business, IT or related discipline is desirable.

Certifications

 * CREST CRT or CHECK Team Member certification would be useful, but isn't essential.

 * Offensive Security OSCP, OSEP or OSWP
 * Certified Red Team Operator (CRTO)
 * Microsoft AZ-500
 * AWS Security Specialty

Our client, one of the UK's leading MSSP'S, are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join their team due to continued growth. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced cyber security and penetration testing specialists, supporting a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.

You'll be part of a collaborative culture where knowledge sharing, continuous learning and innovation are encouraged

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you'll combine deep technical expertise with strong consultancy and client-facing skills. You'll take ownership of penetration testing engagements, working independently on projects as well as collaborating with colleagues on larger assignments.

Core Responsibilities

 * Leading client-facing projects from initial engagement through to successful completion.
 * Delivering a range of penetration testing services, with the opportunity to develop and specialise in areas of particular interest.
 * Working as part of a team on larger and more complex engagements, taking ownership of your areas of responsibility.
 * Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as a key interface between the company and their teams.
 * Understanding client security requirements and supporting the scoping of new business opportunities.
 * Working closely with account managers and commercial teams to develop and shape client solutions.
 * Producing clear, accurate and high-quality technical reports and presentations.
