Share Data Engineer, Google Maps, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 1 year of experience coding in one or more programming languages. * 1 year of experience designing data pipelines, and dimensional data modeling for synch and asynch system integration and implementation using internal (e.g., Flume, etc.) and external stacks (DataFlow, Spark, etc.). * Experience working with data models by performing exploratory queries and scripts. * Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including Esri software (ArcGIS) or FME for spatial data integration and analysis., * Master's degree in Geospatial Sciences, or a related field. * Experience partnering with stakeholders (e.g., users, partners, customer), and managing stakeholders/customers. * Experience developing project plans and delivering projects on time within budget and scope. * Experience with statistical methodology and data consumption tools such as business intelligence tools, collabs, jupyter notebooks, Tableau, Power BI, DataStudio, and business intelligence platforms. ## Description As The Data Engineer, Geo Operations, you will execute full-cycle processing pipelines of complex data, within the scope of a larger project with guidance from manager, team lead, or colleagues, within bounded time. You will have an additional focus on managing the team's Cloud infrastructure and the industry-standard geospatial platforms deployed within it. The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $106000 - $150000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits, * Implement business infrastructure and solutions to build and scale common frameworks for use by Third-Party Developer Operations (3PDO) Data Engineers and Operations team members.
