## Description

A Software Engineer 1 is responsible for developing front-end and back-end solutions via database creation, visual design, process design, and coding - full stack development. They develop and maintain operational software used within the lab and engineering organization., * Program and implement software solutions to improve the efficiency, quality, and speed of product testing and engineering operations.

 * Work with cross-functional user teams to develop innovative and effective UI designs.
 * Collaborate with IT on best practices around software development, security, programming, and long-term maintenance of solutions.
 * Prepare detailed specifications, documentation, and logic diagrams of programs.
 * Design, code, test, troubleshoot, debug, and documents those programs.
 * Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
 * Deliver software solutions focused on solving end user problems.
 * Translate strategy into a technical vision using prototypes, simulations, and other research methodologies.
 * Ensure systems include performance metrics, usage, and growth projections for scalability of applications.
 * Collaborate with other company developers and staff in technical solutions and implementation.
 * Excel in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
 * Ability to work in Microsoft/Office 365 Suite.
